Year 3 Science Day!
Year 3 have been budding scientists this term as we explored the fascinating world of plants! We kicked off with a colourful celery experiment, using blue food colouring to reveal how water travels up through the stem—there were lots of “wow!” moments. Our classroom is now home to a patch of steadily growing cress, and we’ve been carefully observing and recording its progress each day. To top it off, we became plant detectives by dissecting flowers and identifying all their important parts. It’s been a hands-on, exciting journey into how plants live and grow, and we’re so proud of our curious, enthusiastic learners!
