Open classroom and family read

It was wonderful to welcome so many parents and family members to our open classroom on Monday this week.

We had a busy afternoon showing our adults the work we had completed recently in science, then learning about how the Ancient Egyptians used hieroglyphs to write. We solved puzzles by translating hieroglyphs then used mono printing to create images of some of the Egyptian Gods.   Finally, we enjoyed time to explore our marvellous range of non-fiction books relating to our learning about Egyptians, plants and coastlines.
