Year 4 have done their science days this week and have learnt all about Sound. We started the topic by thinking about the sounds around us on a 'sound walk', then learnt how sound travels through the air and demonstrated this by making string telephones, and then we learnt all about pitch and volume. On the second day we explored the shape of animal ears and the benefits of cone shapes. We then conducted an experiment to explore which material is best for soundproofing headphones.
